Walking with Love, alternatives and responses to abortion

SUPPORT? HOW TO WALK WITH HER IN LOVE?

The decision that is made by the woman to continue with her pregnancy or to have an abortion is usually heavily influenced by the perception of support that she feels that she has.

Research shows that 60% of friends and family have no idea how to support women and do not know which organisations offer support services and counselling to pregnant women. She needs to know that you are there for her.

Learn supportive ways to walk with her.

If she needs someone professional to talk to, suggest decision-making counselling which is a specialist form of counselling. If she needs emotional and practical help, YOU can be there for her and point her to the following counselling support agencies who will be able to help her.

For simple practical ways to respond to her, get hold of the WWL Practical Guide.
